So this last weekend, my brother went on his annual hunting trip with a group of his friends; they hired deer hunting outfitters, stayed at a rustic hunting cabin, and the whole nine yards.  He ended up shooting a good sized 6 point deer, so it looks like he will be packing his freezer with venison and probably sending me some of his famous “deer jerky”.  It really is pretty tasty, healthy too.

I may not completely agree with his hunting hobby and killing animals out in the wild, but at least he feeds his family with the meat and he’s nice enough to send me some jerky.  No I don’t think he does it out of spite; I really think he’s just trying to be nice and share his harvest with me, because after all, I am family too.

Well, other than my brother’s hunting trip, it was a fairly uneventful weekend.  Had fun at a party and all, but nothing really much to talk about otherwise.  See ya!
